Michael moved to Central Oregon in 1983 and shares Jeannene’s enthusiasm for real estate. He began his career in business and counseling and brings these strengths to the team.
Michael was raised in Palo Alto, CA, where his father was an engineer in the aerospace industry and the hectic-paced lifestyle was the norm. The simple pleasures of relaxing and enjoying life were few and far between, which he saw daily working in the counseling field. In 1984, after a back injury, he decided to escape from the bay area, and moved to Bend to enjoy a higher quality environment, and slower life style - not to mention great fishing and hunting!
Through extensive physical therapy and exercise (of which dance played a major role) he retrained himself and opened a small service business, which he owned and operated for nine years. In 1987 he was asked to teach country/western dance for COCC and was Continuing Education Teacher of the Year in 1991.
Combining his previous counseling skills, with his business experience and people orientation has made real estate the ideal career choice for Michael, especially selling business opportunities and commercial properties. He also is enjoys the personal side of Residential Real Estate and was installed in Las Vegas as Oregon's 2008/2009 CRS Chapter President.
