CDPE Plan of Action
With the massive participation of lenders in HAFA, the language of the short sale will no longer be as foreign to homeowners and lending institutions. However, the short sale process is still difficult for homeowners. Therefore, it is up to you — the informed agent — to educate your clients and potential clients on how HAFA can assist them and put them on the path to recovery.
For CDPEs, this is a great opportunity to reach out to networks, and the Distressed Property Institute has created a HAFA Plan of Action for CDPEs to reach those homeowners who need their help. This type of information and support is one of the many benefits of CDPE membership, and a big reason behind the success of our Nationwide CDPE Movement to help homeowners.
